Engagement Locations

Boreas Pass

Boreas Pass road is spectacular draped in golden aspen leaves or covered in snow making it an excellent Breckenridge engagement location all year long.

Located just minutes from downtown Breckenridge, Boreas Pass is one of the best locations for engagement photos in Summit County. In the warmer months you can drive all the way to the top of the pass (in an everyday SUV) where you’ll find an abandoned town and train car. You’ll feel like you’re in a different world as the sun begins to fall behind the mountains.

In the fall, as the weather cools the aspen trees that line the road change colors to rich orange and yellow hues.

During winter, the snow blankets the area making it feel like a winter wonderland. A bold dress or coat will look stunning against the snowy backdrop.

WHY WE LOVE IT

The golden aspen trees in the fall never disappoint and the dirt road adds a rustic feel that you can't find everywhere. Only a short walk from the parking lot is a rocky perch that feels like you're standing on top of the world. If you're not afraid of heights, climbing to the top for a photo is a must.
